The Synchronicity of Tastemakers:
An Evening of Food, Wine, & Art

$139 per person

6:00-8:00PM Dinner

A Prix Fixe Wine Dinner Featuring:

Chef Nelson German (Top Chef, Season 18)
Rob Lloyd (Winemaker, Jessup Cellars)
Jermaine Danté (Jessup Resident Artist)
Hosted by Zahrah Farmer (of ABC's Days With Zarah)

Get ready to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime evening with powerhouse tastemakers. Chef Nelson German from Top Chef (Season 18) has created a prix fixe menu inspired by three special paintings selected by Jessup Cellars' Resident Artist, Jermaine Danté. Five Jessup Cellars wines will compliment Chef Nelson's very special presentation. Chef Nelson and Jermaine will be joined by Winemaker, Rob Lloyd, where the three discuss the synchronicity of their discipline exemplified by each course. Zahrah Farmer, of ABC's "Days with Zahrah," emcees the evening's multi-sensory adventure. Our evening of artists will be on hand to sign bottles of wine that are purchased as well as  prints of Jermaine's artwork.

A vegetarian menu will be available. We request no modifications to the menu as the dishes will be presented as the Chef has intended.

OUTSTANDING IN THE FIELD

OUTSTANDING IN THE FIELD

Joan and Walt Flowers pioneered the growing of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes on the rugged hillsides of the Sonoma Coast in the 1990s. And we have been given the rare opportunity to set the table at their seminal vineyard, Camp Meeting Ridge. Here, fog drifts in from the Pacific to curl below steep hillsides lined with grapevines, and sunset colors gild the leaves in the late afternoon. These hills are famously steep, but we will be sure to set the table within a reasonable walking distance. Chef Nelson German will be coming up from Oakland to cook for us amongst the vines. He’s known for his time on Top Chef, but now has two award-winning restaurants, Sobre Mesa and alaMar. He won over our guests with a seafood feast on the beach last year, and won over our crew by staying late to serve a special family meal featuring his own grandmother’s recipe.
